One choice was all it took for my life to turn into a living hell...
I was a gay high school student who loved art, but nobody paid much attention to me other than my best friends until the day I showed the whole school that I saw something hidden behind the eyes of the star jock - Finn. From that day forward, I was forced to watch my back, lie to those I loved, and find a painful escape in razor blades just to have control over my now terrible life.
But it wasn't enough, because Finn and his friends wouldn't stop. So, I chose to die.
Only, it didn't work.
Now, I have changed my name, my look, and the way I do things. I have made millions of dollars on doing what I love in almost complete anonymoty, but the man Finn made me is in his mirror image. Because when nobody is watching, I become the bully, my bedroom antics allowing me to always be the one in control.
I am supposed to be a success story and over all that pain, but when I find out someone who has been hired at my company is a blast from the past, I realize right then and there it is far from over. I still have a demon to face, and his name is Finn.
I don't know if I can do this, and we are supposed to be spending several days together alone, traveling for a big tech convention. I am going to have to reveal it all to get through this - even the fact that the high school nightmare may be doing things to my mind and body I never expected.
