Publisher's Synopsis
A Navy SEAL team leader named Booker Nelson is wounded at a compound in Warsaw, Poland, while a genetic copy of himself is synthetically created in a zygote chamber at the base of the compound. The synthetically created man, B2, helps government officials fight a worldwide tech-savvy network of ruthless scientists and soldiers called the 'Neuvo-Techs'. A monumental discovery is made in the process. While Synth B2 is extracted by a Navy SEAL team, a government run lab in Langley, Virginia is bombarded by the sudden appearance of Sergeant Booker Nelson, 'Book', at nearly the same time. An 'expiration date' is activated which forces the scientists at the Langley lab to study the reason for the appearance of Booker Nelsons facsimile, or 'Shell'. Dan Smith, a CIA agent, discovers that the tank had been sullied by an alien sample from a meteorite dig site in North Africa called 'gravitite'. Synth B2 inevitably finds Books shell and in so doing discovers that the plot had been more insidious than was originally understood.
