Small-time artist Lex Lathem has problems: his wife has disappeared, two sinister policemen are pursuing him with strange questions and he's fallen in love with the mysterious, green-eyed Kat. And then he finds himself lost in a nightmarish labyrinth that seems to be his own tormented life. Dogged treads a twisted path into the unknown through a world inhabited by grotesques, and low-life heroes.
