I fhould be happy to congratulate the planters that after the 2d of April they would be fafely landed on thore, when future afiifiance would be only an incumbrance but I do not ?atter my opinion with a belief, that when thisfubjee'c meets with a fecond overthrow on that day, Enthufiafm will then let it fleep in peace. -the bl ains may be out, but the man will not die. Are {till to be tolled about in the turbulent ocean of prejudice their reputations are {till to be expofed to waves after waves mountain high-breaking their force upon them. Such will be the refult as long as pailion triumphs over truth.
