In a world where everything is going right, life is moving into the direction that you want it to go it seems like nothing can go wrong. A run in the morning is something that makes Sam feel free and relax before the day begins. Yes she goes to school, and yes it never seems like any normal day for others, but it is for her. When one day this mysterious guy named Kevin moves into her life, everything changes. Not just her life around her, but who she is as a human and who she might not be. Some things that were not important to her anymore come into the light and she wishes that none of it ever happened. Especially when she finds out that she is the Queen or Leader to a bunch of children that she never really met, but only saw come out of the woods during the day. Too many are after her and she doesn't understand who is her enemy and who isn't. With death at her door and having a life on the run, the only ones that help her stay in control is the mystery boy and another friend she meets along the way. All she has to do is stay alive and stay in control of herself. Sounds easy right?
