Seeing life through Dannie's eyes shows how emotionally difficult it is to understand the world that we take for granted every day. In The Right Shoes, Dannie struggles with a shop assistants attitude towards her. Dannie's mum had asked the assistant to be patient due to Dannie having Aspergers. The assistant takes Dannie's mum the wrong way and treats Dannie like a baby which only provokes Dannie which causes confliction between Dannie and the assistant. This is where Dannie's Dilemma begins, should she tell her mother or not? The reader will decide.
