Publisher's Synopsis
This is the second book in the "Of The Stars Series" following one of the main characters Darwin; and the challenges he faces as he lives in his curse and love from the Universe.Excerpt From The Book: "I think we need to split up. You take the two lower theatres and I will take the two upper theatres. Then we can meet up with our prisoners, before the fuzz breaks down the doors." Darwin said and then really looked at Lazeroth for the first time tonight. Lazeroth stood out wearing leather chaps, boots and his loin cloth.
"What's with the outfit?" Darwin said as the back light hit King Lazeroth's bare chest adorned with vest and bandana. His crown was completely hidden with a cowboy hat that matched his boots' worn leather. "Sophia bought me this outfit. She told me it made me look more human." King Lazeroth smiled wide as his white fangs were unavoidably noticeable as was the loin cloth he was still wearing with the chaps. As the light streamed down and then faded falling behind them; his eyes glowed red in the dark with Darwin's. "You look...nice." Darwin said and smiled. "Thank you. I think the chaps will really protect my legs from any slashes. Besides these boots are comfy." King Lazeroth was smiling as he held his broad sword ready for action.Darwin looked up at the blinking red light on the ceiling camera and tossed a quarter he found disabling the mechanical device completely. "Ya, I say we have about fifteen minutes. We'll meet back outside in the alley with our prisoners. Keep safe my friend and don't stand on the street corner for too long. May the stars be with you." Darwin said as he made a rush across the hallway entrance to the back staircase leading to the above floors.
He disabled the theatre lights but slightly missed taking out the projector panels as the movies still played on in the background. "May the stars be with you too. And I look classy Darwin; not at all like a male prostitute." King Lazeroth said as he smiled because of Darwin's secret thoughts.
But he didn't exactly know what a male prostitute was. He was definitely going to have to ask Sophia the next time he saw her and possibly punch Darwin for the rude comment.
*** (*This is a Dark Fantasy Romance with twists and adventure. Not recommended for anyone under 18. Great gift for anyone that likes a good "Cheeseburger" - the kind you know isn't good for you but is just too juicy to pass up.)
