Publisher's Synopsis
Children's historical adventure film based on the popular Dutch novel 'Crusade in Jeans' by Thea Beckman. Joe Flynn stars as Dolf Vega, a 16-year-old boy who becomes stranded in the 13th century after volunteering for a time machine experiment. He is almost kidnapped by bandits, but is saved by Jenne (Stephanie Leonidas), a tough girl warrior who is part of an 8,000-strong children's crusade, which is on its way to Jerusalem to free the city from the Persians. Using his modern knowledge, Dolf helps the children to cross hazardous mountains, conquer diseases and fight evil knights - but as time goes on he begins to realize that the greatest danger of all lies at the heart of the crusade itself.
