Publisher's Synopsis

In a chance meeting at a hotel in New York, 49-year-old retired boxer, Sean Robinson, knocks out the current undefeated, undisputed middle weight champion of the world, Mitchell Boyd. Desperate to regain his pride and reputation, Boyd will stop at nothing until Robinson agrees to a televised 'rematch'; even offering Robinson a ten million dollar pay deal. But Boyd has already killed two opponents in the ring. At forty-nine years of age, will Robinson be the third?

Novel excerpt

Mitchell Boyd was already in a foul mood. But when he heard Sean Robinson say he could possibly beat him, and become the next middleweight champion of the world, he exploded. He lunged out of his chair, picked up a heavy glass ornament and threw it at the large screen plasma TV - the TV imploding as it made a loud cracking sound. He then started smashing his fists into the plaster wall near the doorway entrance, littering the wall with holes. It took six men to restrain him and calm him down.

"You get me a boxing match with that prick!" Boyd screamed at his manager. "You get me a match or find another job!"
