The genius of chess is to counter your opponent's moves, while at the same time understanding the strategic thinking beyond the tactical moves, all while pursuing your own tactical and strategic moves at the same time. This is exactly what nation states do in trying to negotiate and interact with each other, whether diplomatically or militarily. For lovers of chess who read this story, the moves made in this story are the identical moves made in a past World Chess Championship game. It is recommended to the reader that after a move is made by either White or Black, and before reading onward, take it upon yourself to visualize the next move.
