Publisher's Synopsis
Domestic comedy starring Al Pacino as stressed-out playwright Travalian. Not only is his new Broadway play running into production problems and having to be rewritten, but his crazy mess of a wife has walked out on him leaving him in charge of five children - four of them products of her previous marriages and not Travalian's own. Despite being pulled in all directions, Travalian manages to find the energy to romance his new leading lady, Alice Detroit (Dyan Cannon) - but finds that she and his brood of offspring are initially less than compatible.
