Der Zusammensetzung der Subnitrate sich wiederfinden muss? Ist es nichtinsbesondere auch wahrscheinlich, dass das Janssen'sche Salz und mein Mag. Bz'sm., die sich ganz verschieden verhalten, auch wirklich verschiedene Salze sind? Janssen, gestutzt aufseine Analysen, glaubt, sie nur als Modificationen eines und desselben Salzes betrachten zu dürfen, deren Abweichungen in der Ver schiedenheit der Temperatur bei Entstehung der Salze zu suchen seien, aber dieser Umstand könnte wohl nur die Entstehung zweier verschiedener Salze bedingen, schwer lich aber reicht er hin, die Entstehung eines in beiden Fällen ganz gleich constituirten Salzes von ganz verschie denen Eigenschaften zu erklären. Und was die Analysen betrifft, so steht nach der Janssen'schen Arbeit allerdings so viel fest, dass die procentische Zusammensetzung dieser Salze nur sehr wenig verschieden sein kann; aber für die sichere Erkennung an sich unbe'deutender Abweichungen, die immerhin fur die Eigenschaften des Salzes wesentlich sein können, reicht unsere jetzige Methode wohl nicht aus, namentlich hinsichtlich der Bestimmung der Salpeter saure.
