Publisher's Synopsis
"Anis, Away"! is a book that's all about conquering your inner demons, and the voices inside your head, that have always messed with you (and of which you might not even have been aware). This particular voice, which appears differently to different people, either tells you that you're too ugly, too fat, too stupid, too useless, too awkward or anti-social, too messed up, too un-dateable, and the list goes on and on.....If you can relate to any of this, first of all, STOP. That's right. STOP. Stop listening to the voice. I will show you how. I've been where you're at, and I taught myself (with no one else to help) how to conquer it, and you can as well....My book will go into a few brief specific highlights of my past life, moments that have shaken me the most, and through them, you'll see how I've overcome. I've made it through to the other side, even in the midst of what seemed like the most impossible odds to deal with. And if I could do it, I'm convinced even a monkey with a temper tantrum could. It's easy and simple! There's really no rocket science to the process. Though it may take some time, depending on your unique situation. But time, we do have! I used to be the unathletic jock, the screw-up, the ignored, the worthless worker, the unpopular student, the person who had never traveled anywhere, seen anything, or known anyone of importance. But for me, all that has changed ---- and is still, in fact, changing everyday. And you'll get to see how....Before you start reading this book, allow me to share with you a few personal thoughts on my faith, which, to me, is real, and I wouldn't change for anything in the world.....The Christian faith, at the very core of its essence, is more than a religion, regardless of how you choose to slice it. And like anypractice, it carries numerous types of sub - sects (otherwise known as denominations & doctrines) by which it functions. Rather than trying to change Christianity itself, how about making an effort to embrace it at its full value? Why not accept for it for what it is, instead of always trying to change it, like so many other people are doing these days? What do I mean? Well, they're teaching Christianity like it's God or a god. But the truth is, it's a medium. It is a process, or aplatform, if you will, and not God itself....it is a means to get to God.My faith respects the Three-in-One God, being God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Ghost. And this faithsimply embodies a special means by which people choose to worship their God though each may take a different stance onvarying points of theology and doctrine altogether. This is indeed a faith that people will never fully agree on, in everybelief point, and that must likewise be accepted.Jesus was crucified, later buried, and then rose from the dead after 3 days. This, all Christian sects agree on....that is, theChrist aspect in Christianity. It's a basic Apostolic teaching and creed. Heaven and hell are equally accepted concepts, no less, heaven being God's throne and hell being Satan's temporary realm of dominion (until he is fully defeated).ConfusionMuch confusion within Christianity arises, however, from numerous sources, one being Christians trying to fit into themold or, in other words, merge Christianity into what they believe that it ought to be or stand for. They seek to make itsomething else entirely. And to further add to the mayhem, numerous denominations and interpretations of certainScriptural portions tend to create much division and, ultimately, confusion and upheaval within the very churches they are tryingto establish. It is, as such, a double - edged sword. It's truly amazing how religion has led people to becomeconfused, confusion arising, for instance, from how Christianity itself is taught, in the first place. It's beenmanipulated and made to feel like it is God, instead of a way to worship God. And my life has seen it....
