LIZAREIGN, an introverted but amiable woman and her fiancé RIVER- a dashing know-it-all with a heart of gold, find themselves entangled in a world of gods, titans, and mythological creatures after Lizareign is bitten by one of Medusa's snakes. MEDUSA- an embittered woman turned gorgon, never asked for things to be like this. She too is a victim to the cruelty of the gods, or rather one in particular- ATHENA- the evil and manipulative goddess who cursed Medusa and her sisters. Athena has resurrected PERSEUS- an arrogant and self-righteous man, to hunt Medusa down through the centuries and murder her time and again. Medusa survives when her snakes find her soul a new body. This time, Lizareign's body was chosen, but the unexpected happened.
