Excerpt from Address on Peripneumonia Typhoides, Delivered to the Medical Society of Orange County, at Their Anniversary Meeting, July 5, 1814
The winter past was much as the one we have describ ed. The disease did not appear in my course of practice un til the last of January, find disappeared about the middle of April tho' I have understood the disease appeared much earlier in other parts of the county, and particularly in the western part ofthe town of Minisink, and in an adjoining part of the state of new-jersey.
