Publisher's Synopsis

Salvation Song, Twenty-five years have passed since the events of A LESSER VIOLENCE. The population has been reduced once again, though there is still a city named Eve, where most survivors gather in the thousands. A few hours from Eve, Newton is a small town holding a couple of hundred people. Some are travelers, most are citizens. The Blue-hats have begun regular visits to the city of Eve, arresting anyone that supports military action by the city against the U.N.

Levi Shaw is a traveler. Upon passing through Newton, he learns of a tragic fire that burned the church and traumatized the small town. Shaw feels God's calling and was waiting for the sign. He and a few other townsfolk set about restoring the church, but soon find out there is a greater threat on the horizon.
