Publisher's Synopsis
This is the story of a young Jewish man growing up near Savannah who enlists in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Because of his excellent vision and marksmanship skills, he's selected for the role of sniper. This duty proves to be difficult for him because of both his moral and ethical beliefs. He must adapt to both the wartime and postwar challenges resulting from his experience in order to survive.
