Tinnitus is when you hear ringing or other noises in one or each of your ears. The noise you hear when you have tinnitus isn't induced by using an exterior sound, and different humans normally can't hear it. Tinnitus is a frequent problem. It influences about 15% to 20% of people, and is particularly frequent in older adults.
Tinnitus is typically precipitated by an underlying condition, such as age-related hearing loss, ear damage, or a hassle with the circulatory system. For many people, tinnitus improves with therapy for the underlying reason or with different redress that minimizes or masks the noise, making it much less noticeable.
