Blenkiron, a tubby and extremely knowledgeable American on our side.Sir Walter Bullivant, the senior intelligence man who came to Hannay's aid in the Steps, now informs them there is a dastardly German plot to cause a muslim uprising against the British in the Middle East and beyond, down the east coast of Africa. Our heroes are tasked with finding out who's organising it and stopping it.
