Publisher's Synopsis
In the second half of the 19th century, the disappearance of numerous ships without a clear explanation made navigating the seas no longer safe. The data point to a sea monster, larger than a whale, endowed with great speed, power and which, at times, becomes phosphorescent. An expedition that includes Professor Arronax, a naturalist, will go out to sea to try to unravel the mystery. But soon they will be attacked by the beast and the survivors will witness something they would not believe if they did not see it with their own eyes. On board the incomparable submarine boat of the particular Captain Nemo, they will be able to see scenes forbidden to the human eye and the natural wonders that populate the marine abysses.
