Publisher's Synopsis

A lot of us who go through mental illness and addiction feel alone in our suffering. I wrote this partly because I wanted to share my own story for that reason, for whatever it's worth. I am not claiming that i wrote it for completely selfless reasons. I have been through an inordinate amount of trauma in my battle with addiction and mental illness, and also in recovery. This book was very therapeutic to write. And despite my struggle, I'm sober today. My life is abundantly blessed, and I'd like to share the message that yours can be too. I'd also like to share the fact that every soul is worth saving, yours included, and that healing is possible. No matter how far down we go, the human spirit is incredibly resilient and capable of overcoming even the most dire of situations. I hope this short book is encouraging and helpful.- S.G.
