The land of Everwai is a place filled with magic and adventure around every corner. The inhabitants are varied between humans, elves, dwarves, and anthropomorphic animals, mostly living together peacefully. When danger does threaten that peace, those among the populace rise up, becoming heroes of the land.
Being a hero is a big deal in this world. Guilds are formed filled with heroes, the most popular being written into books, art work created and sold of their battles, and bardic songs sung about their glory. Becoming a hero is by no means for everyone, as the danger is great. But the glory and fame that awaits can be too tempting for some to pass up.
A young snow leopard cub Bright Steel has his sights set on being one of the greatest heroes of them all. But first, Bright must find a way to free his parents from the grasp of the Unseen Eye, a dark and well organized thieves guild that blackmails and extorts the inhabitants of Golden Grove. Danger is around every corner for the anthropomorphic cub, where one mistep could lead to his demise.
