Publisher's Synopsis
Realm of Five Kingdoms is a fantasy novel that captures the epic battles among five
empires led by powerful and superhuman leaders during the middle ages; about 500 BC.
Marcellus is a war-hungry and blood-thirsty brother of Ortho Arquitius, the aging and
laid-back legitimate emperor of the Roman empire.
who had had several attempts at his life, and Ennius, the equally malevolent son.
In Persia, the equally powerful emperor, Xavier Lambrakis, also attempts to make peace
with Ortho, in the false hope that the world will be a better place for everyone if all the
five powerful kingdoms avoid attacking each other.
Lambrakis, the ageing monarch of Persia decides to send his only daughter, princess Adonia, to Rome to negotiate peace
terms with the Roman king, Ortho. Back in Rome, Marcellus, driven by the desire to unseat his brother violently, seizes the
opportunity for a peace-building meeting and travels to Rome with Ennius and a
sizeable force of trusted soldiers. He then evokes his evil powers of altering time and
controlling minds to execute a ruthless and bloody coup, murdering his brother, the
queen and other guests.
In a twist events, Ennius captures Septimus and Adonia (the two had met and fallen in
love with one another). He then imprisons Adonia in the most horrid conditions,
humiliates, and then sells Septimus to King Jonathan Hayden of empire of England.
Meanwhile, emperor Marcellus and Prince Ennius consolidate power in Rome, much to
the detriment of anyone whom they consider an enemy. The two also decide to actualize
their expansionist plans by cleverly stoking a conflict between the empire of Egypt and
that of Sparta.
Their calculations for word domination seem to be working so far when
Egypt attacks Sparta in a mistaken belief that the former was behind a recent attack on
the Egyptian capital. Persia also gets sucked into the growing conflagration by joining
forces with Sparta to completely destroy Egypt.
In England, King Hayden discovers who Septimus really is after a series of sacred
revelations. Septimus proves the ancient English legends about the Zolox sword and the
Great War between good and evil. Septimus then gets a new ally in King Hayden and
travels back to Persia to join forces with emperor Lambraskis to prevent humanity from
being engulfed by the evil forces of Marcellus and Ennius.
