Publisher's Synopsis
Friendship is an indispensable part of the human experience. Friends can come and go throughout our lives. Friends enrich us and bind us together as we travel through the experiences of being alive. If friends decide to part ways, we are far better off for having had them, than having lived without them. Our nature is such that most of us crave human contact. Listening to, giving and taking advice, boosting one another's self-esteem, and walking together for awhile through this unlikely path of life helps give us the motivational highs to go on. "At the Diner" is a story of give and take among four adults who were childhood friends. They help to resupply each other with emotional support, confidence, laughter, and love before parting ways into their separate paths and back to the daily noise, confusion, mystery, and miracle of living.
