Publisher's Synopsis
There are rumors of a breakthrough miracle drug about to hit the market . . .
In fact, the gossip is so exciting that someone needs to stop it. One company's success is another company's reduced profits in the pharmaceutical industry. The rumors are so loud that they're reached the ears of the CIA. Would foreign agents try and take down an American Company?
CIA operative Michelle Watson and her partner are sent to a San Francisco medical convention to validate the rumors.
Except, that murder happens occurs at the convention and there is no evidence to link the murder to a particular company or country. Michelle is sent to China to investigate, but it's hard to escape notice as a kick-ass American agent. Are they in the right country though? Pharmaceutical companies are headquartered in many countries.
Meanwhile, a CIA agent assigned to Russia fails to make his hourly contact with the agency. Michelle finds herself balancing two cases at once. It's a good thing she can teleport around the earth to be in many places at once as she leaves her fellow agents wondering how did she get there? Can she figure out who is behind the murder and save the agent? Is there a connection between the two cases?
