Publisher's Synopsis
The Second European War ended with much different results then the First European War of 1914-1918. Where the earlier conflict had wiped out the empires of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Russia, the second war had seen Germany rebound back to greatness. Germany fought from 1939-1942 and had not only recouped its loses suffered earlier but gained tremendously in territory and power. The ensuing 25 years had seen Germany rise to be the preeminent power on earth. With the British Empire, the Japanese Empire, the United States and Russia, five powers now held sway over the entire globe. But old grudges had begun to percolate. The Americans and the British tolerated the rise of Germany. But Japan and Russia sought vengeance and a new generation of von Mueller's would have to fight to preserve the Second German Empire.
