Set in Berlin during the war. The Valentine Rose is a secret file which the Resistance is desperate to get to England and which the Nazis are equally desperate to hold on to. Its contents would change the course of the war and rewrite history. Colonel Christoff Stern, awarded the top honour of 'Knight cross with oak leaves' for extreme bravery, has already lost his family to the war. Disillusioned, he takes up the challenge of getting the file out of Germany. After all, he has only his life to lose.
