A series of computer-based simulated laboratory exercises in biochemistry and molecular biology at a second- and third-year university level. The CD-ROM is both a tutorial on the processes of mitochondrial electron transport and oxidative phosphrylation, and a simulation of the measurement of oxygen uptake by mitochondria when exposed to various substrates. It teaches concepts of experimental design and general biochemical logic, and reinforces concepts met in tutorials and lectures.
