Publisher's Synopsis
ZRI ST. CROIX was content with being another average girl living in the suburbs of Maison, NV-an aspiring artist, daughter of a prominent studio owner and defense attorney, the token introvert among her friends, and a self-proclaimed History guru. Following the celebrations of her 18th birthday, she discovers that she is far from ordinary and is hurled into a world of alternate existence, buried purposes and shocking truths. In an instant, it is revealed to her that an essential piece of her being has been missing and finds coercion to be made whole again coming from all sides. There are people who have only heard legends of her and others who she held near and dear. Both groups harbor members who seek to gain from either her remaining a basic Hummie or her embracing who she truly is-whether she genuinely wants to or not.
