Publisher's Synopsis
This book contains two essays: the first recounts the founding of the Order of the Knights Templar in 1118. The other text narrates the extinction of that order in the year 1314. Both stories, which are now in the public domain, were rescued from the book The Great Events by Famous Historians, published in the year 1905. The essays were written rigorously by three prominent intellectuals, such as Charles G. Addison, F. C. Woodhouse and H. H. Milman.
