This unit is dedicated to Health and Nutrition. Children will be introduced about all things associated with Health in four weekly segments: Doctor and Dentist Visits, Healthy Habits, Nutrition, and The Five Senses. Each week features a variety of activities for art, math, science, circle time, dramatic play and other areas. This fun unit provides step-by-step activities to fill all learning centers. Sample activities include: teeth stain activity, hand-printing germs, fitness activity games, planting fruits, among others. Each segment includes a complete planning web and goal. All activities are described in great detail and have been previously tested in a preschool classroom.
