He had asked his mom if he could join his uncle David aboard the research vessel the Valiant for a couple of weeks as it plied the waters of the South Seas Islands. Janice Moris had spent the school year with her grandmother in Toms River New Jersey. She was now anxiously looking forward to returning to her home on the island of Tahiti. Join Tom and Jan as they share a summer of adventure on the high seas. Explore far off lands and visit other cultures as our two heroes battle illegal toxic waste dumping and pirates, while doing some serious scientific research to define the effects of global climate change in the Pacific.
