Thomas Nashe was an English poet and satirist. Nashe was also well known in his day for being the greatest pamphleteer during the Elizabethan era in the late 16th century. Today Nashe is best remembered for the novel The Unfortunate Traveller. The Unfortunate Traveller, published in 1594, is a picaresque novel that is set during the reign of King Henry VIII.
