Publisher's Synopsis
While the transformation process is an end in itself, the ultimate end is Christ's glory. It is not a form, a ritual or an enterprise. It cannot and will not be accomplished as a task, an obligation or a program. It is a process, and yet it is an event. The process is in our realization (the transforming of our mind, soul and will) yet it is not accomplished by fleshly means. It is, in fact, not accomplished at all. It is not a work, it is a place of rest in the final and finished work of Christ. It is in Him, by Him and for Him. Christ is the ultimate reality of transformation, for it is Christ formed in us. It is that profound and that simple. It cannot be organized, programmed or forced. It cannot be acquired, manipulated or worked on. It is found in release, rest, and faith in His grace.
