Mbodied in the following pages are plain facts from farmers in the Ca'nadian north-west, on many points of interest to intending settlers. It should be stated that circular letters asking for information were sent out in the month of September, 1884, to all farmers in the country whose addresses could be procured The replies received we're so numerous as to make it quite impossible to embody them all in one pamphlet. Those given in the following pages relate chie?y to the main questions present, /in the first instance, to the mind of an' intending' settler.
