This Beet is remarkable for its smooth skin and fine shape. We have been growing it on our trial grounds for several years, and cannot help noting its many desirable qualities. It is a second early variety, does not grow large and coarse, the matured Beets being medium in size and of good shape. The ?esh and skin are both very dark and quality fine, being sweet and tender.
