Missy is doing well enough financially, that she decides to step back from her businesses a bit in order to achieve more balance in her personal and social life. She starts spending more time with the ladies in her book club, surprised at some of the interesting dynamics in the group. When Sally, the leader of Burgundies and Books book club is murdered, suspicion immediately falls upon the newest member of the group, Samantha, who turns to Missy and Chas for help. Things are not as they seem within the book club, and shocking secrets are revealed as the case unfolds.
