Publisher's Synopsis
Recently widowed, Mike Destep loses his job and is on life's down escalator when fate deals him a winning lottery ticket. He sets out to mend his broken family, but becomes the target of unknown watchers and is recruited to help a shadowy government agency . Just as his life seems to settle down, he's kidnapped by gangsters enlisted by a traitorous family member who grabs for control of his fortune. Mike is severely injured and his time is running out. His family and allies must rescue him, but if they can't find him quickly, Mike and many others will be murdered to cover up the crime.
