They are d'rawn and engraved by Frame and Abraham Hegenbergh, Hoefnagle, and others, particularly Henry Stenwxck: the author at1les himself both Bruin and Braun. It is a work of uncommon labourfbut W1thout method, and some of the cities are repeated. In this collection is the cunous ptint of Nonsuch and in the last plate but two of the first volume is 'a view pf the lake Averno; Ottehus and G. Hoefnaglo arc standmg by theilake, and from seeing birds swimming on itphunc locum non esse Aornon advertentes.
