Publisher's Synopsis
"Day one til' the day comes, who'd ever thought it would be my day one" Two words that "Sleep" lived by were love and loyalty. He was loyal to whoever was loyal to him, and he had love for whoever had love for him. Being 'the man' around town causes a lot of hate and envy. When Sleep's right-hand gets sent away, he shows his loyalty by making sure he was good while being in the inside. Sleep just couldn't do visits, and because of that this loyalty starts to get questioned. While busy running it up in the grimy streets of NYC and Long Island to make sure he and his boys were good, Sleep notices a lot of suspicious activity going on, causing him to reevaluate who his loyalty lies with. Even the ones he thought he could trust began to turn their backs on him. Will Sleep be able to survive the grimy, disloyal acts that are coming his way? Banga is fresh home from serving a short bid in Greene Correctional Facility. Although he's ecstatic to be a free man he can't help but feel some type of way. His day one never stepping foot inside those prison gates to see him, bothered him something serious. He thought they were better than that. He just knew if no one else came to see him that Sleep would have. Only one who visited him every two weeks was his first love and baby mother Dior. Will the ill feelings that Banga now has for Sleep cause some type of rivalry? Or will they iron out their problems and continue to live by the A1, day one status?
