Publisher's Synopsis
HOW TO PRAY by Isaac EssilfieThe basic idea people have of prayer is calling on God or other deities to help out with events in the earth. Even though this view carries the idea of access to higher beings, it brings in the state of helplessness on the part of the one asking for help. Is this really what prayer is all about? We don't have access in order to be helped; rather, to help ourselves. We have been allowed access into high places in order to directly influence events in the earth. Our access allows us venture into these initially inaccessible high places. Unfortunately, believers only like to focus on supplication; crying to God for help and mostly getting disappointed when things do not play out as expected. Christ brought us a more excellent deal. The veil in the temple was torn for access into heavenly places. We are not expected to stay in the earthly dimension hoping for higher beings to step down to us. We are called to be the highest of all high beings - sons of God operating in every height and depth there ever is!
