Kim Wilde, born Kim Smith on 18th November 1960, Chiswick, West London, Middlesex, England, UK is a pop singer, songwriter, author, landscape gardener, DJ and TV presenter. She first had a hit during 1981 with her debut single "Kids in America", which made UK # 2. Wilde received the Brit Award for Best British Female solo artist in 1983 then had another UK # 2 hit with a reworked version of the Supremes' song "You Keep Me Hangin' On" during 1986, which also topped the US Billboard Hot 100 the following year. Kim had 25 singles which entered the Top 50 of the UK singles chart from 1981 - 1996, her other hits including "Chequered Love" (1981), "You Came" (1988) and "Never Trust a Stranger" (1988). Wilde collaborated with Nena on the song "Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime" in 2003, which topped the Dutch charts.
