Publisher's Synopsis
A learning resource for students studying the BTEC First Diploma in Engineering. Its content covers the specifications of the following units: engineering fundamentals, mathematics, science and information technology. In addition, the book contains a programme of integrative assignments which cover the four units mentioned above as well as the specifications for common skills. The book can also be used as a portfolio of evidence, since once a student has achieved an objective this can be recorded, using the task data sheets for each of the assignments. These achievements can then be recorded on the module specifications and student profile, given at the back of the book, eventually building up until the student has met all the objectives of the course.
