Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Health Bulletin, 1921, Vol. 36
The rules and regulations of the State Board of Health for the control of venereal diseases require a person infected with such disease to report to a legally qualified physician for treat ment. This rule is based upon the idea that the person infected is responsible to the public and is under Obligation to seek proper treatment so as not to transmit infection to others. This principle of personal responsibility of the infected person for the spread of venereal diseases is now made a part of the law of North Carolina through the decision of the Supreme Court.
