A. N. 60: 149. Discovered by bruhns at Leipzig, November 30, one day before he found the preceding comet. At first, very faint; at the time of perihelion, brighter; observed by bruhns till March 12. Above orbit by engelmann is a parabola computed from five normal places. The deviation from this curve is inappreciable.
