Some most thrilling and instructive articles have appeared in all classes of publications and newspapers on its great work, which threw a sunlight on its renewed labours, and which attracted the attention of the public, although at first slowly, yet surely. The success which the efforts of the Press contributed thus to produce has become so marked that the British life-boat institution is now the Model on which other Nations have formed, and are still forming, similar Institutions on all the sea coasts of the World.
