Bestäubung und Befruchtung. Die Bestäubung von Ganna ist eiters Gegenstand eingehender Beobachtung gewesen und das Resultat ist, daß Selbstbefruchtung der bei weitem häufigste Modus ist, daß Kreuzbefruchtung dagegen stattfinden kann. Die Stellung des Staubblattes und des Griffels in der Knospe ist so, daß das Staubblatt den Griffel ziemlich eng umfaßt und die beiden blattartig ?achen Organe liegen alsdann dicht gegeneinander gepreßt.
