Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Tenth Report of the Domestic Mission Society, Connected With Lewin's Mead Chapel: Presented at the Annual Meeting, Held September 24, 1849; With the Address of the Missionary
Your Committee have recommended Mr. Smith, therefore, not to attempt the establishment of any school in connection with his Mission, nor to engage in any thing which would de mand so large a share of his time and attention, as to call him away from his work of domestic visitation and instruction.
It has been thought important that a religious home and religious worship and culture should be provided for those who would desire to avail themselves of these advantages, and Mr. Smith regularly conducts divine service, at the Mission Chapel, every Sunday evening.
