In addition to the excellent helps which are elsewhere referred to, I can now mention Thayer's greek-english Lexi con of the New Testament. This I have used constantly, and with increasing satisfaction, since its first publication. I cannot speak too emphatically of its value. To every student of the Greek New Testament who aims at anything like thoroughness, it is indispensable.
It is my intention, should life and strength be spared, to prepare another volume, corresponding to the present one, containing the Greek text of those Epistles of Paul which were written before he became a prisoner, also with notes.
In the hope that this work may aid the student and the pastor in the careful and intelligent study of some of the more difficult and important portions of the divine word, this volume is now submitted to the public.
