Publisher's Synopsis
Kiley Woods has been writing poetry for four years and she has been published in Second Story Journal. She is a student studying creative writing and marine science.
kaleidoscope is a book of poetry and is Kiley's debut book that features poems full of natural imagery, questions of humanity, love, and loss.
Why kaleidoscope? A kaleidoscope is a colorful puzzle that when put against the window or when some kind of light source enters the beauty is indescribable and incomprehensible. The idea of the kaleidoscope is the opposite of every poem in this book but that is where these poems are headed. There's a chance. A moment of clarity. There's a source of light at the end.
